Colon clenser psyllium

When we cleanse our liver, toxins are released into the colon that needs to be immediately removed. The digestive tract should be periodically cleansed of mucoid plaque. Mucoid plaque is sticky mucus that builds up in the digestive tract which eventually hardens. More mucus gets laid on top of it. In time, this, too, hardens.  Eventually a thick layer of hardened plaque forms. It gets all mixed up with old feces, in which parasites and other microorganisms live. This can eventually produce autointoxication.
Another problem with mucoid plaque is that it inhibits nutrient absorption, much of which takes place in the intestines. Since nutrients are the building blocks of a healthy body, the more nutrients we can get the better! Because it is also important to eat a low-calorie diet, it makes good sense to periodically purify the body of mucoid plaque, especially if your diet is less than the best.
Foods that produce the most mucus are meat, eggs, dairy products, processed foods, white sugar/high fructose corn syrup products and grain, in particular, wheat.
In short, the common foods most of us eat. Foods that create the least mucus are fresh fruits and vegetables, which are also cleansing to the system, passing through in a relatively short period of time.
A good colon cleansing herb is psyllium husk powder. Psyllium is a natural fiber that absorbs more than ten times its weight in water. Because it is sticky, it expands in our intestines and pulls the softened mucus out in large clumps and strings, but we will generally only see this if we are fasting.

Benefits of psyllium

Psyllium fills us with fiber, reducing appetite without over stimulating the nervous system. Psyllium is a top herb used in weight control and for general intestinal health. It contains a spongy fiber that reduces appetite, improves digestion and cleanses the system, making it an excellent choice for healthy dieting. Psyllium can provide the fiber that is missing on low carbohydrate diets.
Only recently have scientists learned that soluble fiber has unique effects on metabolism. The herb also provides a feeling of fullness that is helpful before meals. Psyllium is one of the simplest, healthiest and most effective herbs for weight control.
Psyllium has also been used for irritable bowel syndrome (a stress-related disorder with alternating bouts of diarrhea and constipation). Because it will produce easy bowel movements with a loose stool, Psyllium soaks up a significant amount of water in the digestive tract, thereby making stool firmer and, under these circumstances, slower to pass. Psyllium also has the additional advantages over other sources of fiber of reducing flatulence and bloating.

Affect of fiber on blood glucose level

Fiber is a type of carbohydrate but since it is not broken down by the human body, it does not contribute any calories.Fiber does not raise blood glucose levels. Because it is not broken down by the body, it has no effect on blood glucose levels because it isn't digested. So, fiber is a good thing for people with diabetes. There are two types of fiber: insoluble and soluble. Insoluble fiber keeps your digestive tract working well. Soluble fiber can help lower your cholesterol level and improve blood glucose control if eaten in large amounts.Another benefit of fiber is that it adds bulk to help make you feel full. Given these benefits, fiber is important to include in the daily diet for people with diabetes, as well as those who don't have diabetes.

CHOLESTEROL & FIBER

Cholesterol is unique in that our body produces it, yet we also consume it in our diet. As cholesterol is necessary to perform everyday bodily processes, our body instructs our liver to produce it. As a result, it is entirely possible that our we could avoid consuming cholesterol, and still  have high cholesterol. Some people's bodies are simply genetically used to make a lot of cholesterol; it doesn't matter whether they eat a perfect diet or are a healthy weight. Other people get high cholesterol because of poor diet and lifestyle choices.

Dietary fiber binds bile, fatty acids, and blood cholesterol together into a large package of waste. Because it makes stool bulkier, fiber promotes easier bowel movements, and helps to transport cholesterol out of our body.

Our body does not actually digest dietary fiber. Instead, soluble fiber sits in our large intestine where it is fermented by bacteria. During fermentation, some free fatty acids are produced. During this process,  one of these fatty acids travels to our liver and tells it to produce less cholesterol, resulting in a reduction of total cholesterol levels.

FiberUp is 100% pure psyllium powder with the goodness of psyllium fiber & it is also available in delicious flavors. Hence FiberUp flavored psyllium husk powder is a great way to add fiber to our diet.

What are Some Natural Laxatives?

A person who generally has no more than three bowel movements per week is generally considered to be constipated, a condition that limits bowel movements and causes the stool to be small and hard. To fight constipation, many people prefer to use natural laxatives rather than harsh over-the-counter medicines. The most popular natural laxatives are foods rich in fiber. Fiber is found in fruits, vegetables, and grains.
When a person eats food rich in fiber, his or her stomach acids breaks the fiber down into soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Insoluble fiber is the portion of the fiber that is hard to digest. It moves into the bowels and does not change form, which can cause hard stool. Soluble fiber, on the other hand, helps to soften the stool because it rapidly absorbs water. When water is added to soluble fiber, it turns into a gel-like sponge and rapidly enters the bowels to soften the stool.
Fibafit Caps Psyllium Husk Capsules are made of 100% pure psyllium husk fiber. They fit into your daily routine perfectly, something to make sure you get your daily fiber intake & also they are easy to swallow. They are a form of natural laxatives which provide relief in constipation because they offer high levels of soluble fibers.

Dietary fiber: Essential for a healthy diet

Eat more fiber. You've probably heard it before. But do you know why fiber is so good for your health?
Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes — is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease.

What is dietary fiber?

Dietary fiber, also known as roughage or bulk, includes all parts of plant foods that your body can't digest or absorb. Unlike other food components such as fats, proteins or carbohydrates — which your body breaks down and absorbs — fiber isn't digested by your body. Therefore, it passes relatively intact through your stomach, small intestine, colon and out of your body. It might seem like fiber doesn't do much, but it has several important roles in maintaining health
.Normalizes bowel movements. Dietary fiber increases the weight and size of your stool and softens it. A bulky stool is easier to pass, decreasing your chance of constipation. If you have loose, watery stools, fiber may also help to solidify the stool because it absorbs water and adds bulk to stool. For some, fiber may provide relief from irritable bowel syndrome
Aids in weight loss. High-fiber foods generally require more chewing time, which gives your body time to register when you're no longer hungry, so you're less likely to overeat. Also, a high-fiber diet tends to make a meal feel larger and linger longer, so you stay full for a greater amount of time. And high-fiber diets also tend to be less "energy dense," which means they have fewer calories for the same volume of food.
Helps control blood sugar levels. Fiber, particularly soluble fiber, can slow the absorption of sugar, which for people with diabetes can help improve blood sugar levels. A diet that includes insoluble fiber has been associated with a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes
Lowers blood cholesterol levels. Soluble fiber found in beans, oats, flaxseed and oat bran may help lower total blood cholesterol levels by lowering low-density lipoprotein, or "bad," cholesterol levels. Epidemiologic studies have shown that increased fiber in the diet can reduce blood pressure and inflammation, which is also protective to heart health.
Helps maintain bowel integrity and health. A high-fiber diet may lower your risk of developing hemorrhoids, and small pouches in your colon (diverticular disease). Some fiber is fermented in the colon. Researchers are looking at how this may play a role in preventing diseases of the colon.
